Cathia M. Degand Baptiste is a dedicated and accomplished educator with a wealth of experience in the field of English as a Second Language (ESL). With an impressive career spanning 13 years, she has consistently demonstrated a passion for fostering language development and academic success among her students.

In addition to her tenure at Campus Education (Jersey City), Cathia has contributed her expertise to Long Island University (LIU), where she has served as an educator for over a year. Her diverse teaching experiences have allowed her to connect with students from various backgrounds, further enriching her understanding of effective language acquisition strategies.

Currently serving as the School Director and ESL Coordinator of Campus Education (Elmhurst), Cathia plays a pivotal role in shaping the academic landscape of her institution. In this capacity, she oversees the school’s operations and ensures the smooth implementation of ESL programs, demonstrating her leadership skills and commitment to academic excellence.

Cathia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, providing her with a broad understanding of societal dynamics that she integrates into her teaching philosophy.
