Teaching Philosophy: I believe that students learn best when they feel engaged and comfortable in the classroom. Therefore, I strive to create an environment where everyone feels free to make mistakes and enjoy the learning process. Two key elements of my teaching philosophy are literature and humor. I focus on teaching academic skills but also aim to make my classes as entertaining as possible by teaching classic short stories and poems, while incorporating jokes. This helps to keep my students engaged and encourages them to take on challenges. Most importantly, I emphasize the study of Latin and Greek roots, so students can expand their understanding of academic English.
